I won’t hide my love for DMB, but since I’ve been to so many shows, I don’t always listen to the shows I’ve been to. This one I keep coming back to. For most of the second half of the show, Béla Fleck joins them for some truly inspired versions. I was not surprised he showed up as a guest on their next album.

Review:

My 3rd HFSMas Nutcracker, and one of my favorite as emmet swimming opened. It was the 1st of only two times so far that producer Don Dixon played with them (also January 2004 when his band opened for them).

While WHFS recorded all their shows, I’m still in 2023 having trouble finding copies of them. This show however is out there in full.
