My first time seeing U2, and I was just blown away. Nice mix of old and new songs.

Review:
I do love me some Love Seed Mama Jump, but this was the only time I recorded the show. Lotsa covers and their own songs, as usual.

Review:
Brian Jack was the former vocalist for Child’s Play, which had moderate fame in the DMV, so I was happy to see him.

Review:
My first opportunity to see a member of Monty Python, and so hilarious. Very disappointing to find out a recording exists and is not available for sale.

emmet swimming at T.T. Reynolds, Fairfax, VA, USA
Review:
As you can see from the invitation, this was a pretty significant event for emmet swimming, a party as they’d been signed to Epic Records. Eric, Todd & Rob played acoustic (Tamer was skydiving – or he had a hangover).

Phil Lewis with Sexface at Nick’s Nightclub, Alexandria, VA, USA
Review:
Phil Lewis is the lead singer of L.A. Guns, who was touring solo. Eric is a huge fan, so we went. Our favorite song of his is “Never Enough”, and he didn’t do it, so we were screaming it towards the end of his set, and became one of our longest running in jokes.
