Review:
Both Jill and I liked Riverdance, and it was a fun show. It did bring back the trauma of selling tickets to it at Waxie Maxie’s though.

Jill had never seen the Boston Pops outside of Boston, and wanted to see their new conductor Keith Lockhart.

After co-headlining the year before, they were on their own. Joined by the “wall of Jo(h)n” (Jon Carroll, John Jennings, and the “Fillmore Horns”), songs from this superb show were used for their second live album Three Rooms.
Jill was a fan too, so we enjoyed a show with plenty of the older hits we knew.

Blues Traveler was a mutual favorite band for Jill and I, and this was also her first show at Wolf Trap, our home away from home.

Yes with The Wolf Trap Symphony. First time seeing Yes, and a perfect experience.

Wow, do I wish I had recorded this show. I have the efo setlist and that’s it, and I remember having a great time.

I’d been hearing good things about this jam band, and they put on a good show. The epic “Voodoo Chile” cover was my favorite part.

A great bill, then Sister Hazel joined the Pat McGee Band during their set.
Pat McGee Band’s first solo headlining Wolf Trap show and a good time. Michael Ghegan guesting and a couple sweet covers would be a hallmark of their Wolf Trap shows.
