Pretty sure I went solo, but met up with Eric. Nice line up of hair metal bands before M3 came along.

Review:
Seeing Kevn Kinney was nice, hearing his solo and Drivin N Cryin songs was great, but my favorite was finally seeing Gibb Droll on guitar. I loved his album Dharma.

Luther Wright & the Wrongs at IOTA Club & Cafe, Arlington, VA, USA
Review:
Their album was Rebuild The Wall, a complete cover of the Pink Floyd classic in their own country/bluegrass style. So naturally I was happy to see them do it live.

Angie Aparo with Shane Hines at IOTA Club & Cafe, Arlington, VA, USA
Review:
Angie Aparo was probably the last artist I discovered from a cassette. His 1999 album The American is now one of my favorites, and Jill got into it as well. This was my first show at tiny IOTA, and he was amazing.

Review:
- Queens of the Stone Age at the 9:30 Club? Great.
- Mark Lanegan (from Screaming Trees) singing lead vocals on four songs? Fantastic.
- Dave Grohl playing drums (the first time I saw him on drums)? Awesome.

Carbon Leaf & Seven Nations are great live bands, so being able to walk there was a bonus.
