Review:
Pat McGee Band was a must after seeing them earlier in the summer. My sister liked Eddie From Ohio and had given me a CD, but I found it hard to get into. Live, I was sold instantly.

I remember it being a good show but not much more, so it was funny when a coworker asked me if I went to the show because I walk across the shot of the video linked below (I’ve set the video to begin playing then, but you can just drag it back to the beginning).

Our second night at the Herndon Festival featured pop from The Push Stars and ironically the Natalie-less 10,000 Maniacs.

My first Herndon Festival, and so much fun. Food and beer verndors, and great music. Gaelic Storm was the first Celtic/Irish band I saw, and riding high off their appearance in Titanic.

After seeing several short sets from Natalie, it was nice to get the full set, including some 10,000 Maniacs classics.

Changes for the HFStival, as it moved up the road to PSINet Stadium in Baltimore. Happy to see Fountains of Wayne for the first (and last) time, and finally see the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I remember a clear blue sky all day.

By this time, Melanie and I had bought a townhouse in Herndon, so we could walk down to the Town Green and see concerts. The Friday Night Live! part seems pretty obvious.

My first time seeing Alanis, as she was delightful, nice mix of her then two albums. Liz was also great, adding songs from whitechocolatespaceegg.
